I don’t get it
I thought about this for a while before I fell asleep last night, and still have yet to figure it out. Why is it that when someone meets a new person with whom they have a romantic connection, they’ve ‘never felt this way before’? Why do we lie to ourselves? Because unless it’s your first relationship or you’re in seventh grade, of course you’ve felt that way! Everyone now thinks that their one true love is the person that they say ‘I love you’ to for the first time. Let me tell you one thing, I’d be setting myself up to marry a red headed pothead if that were the case. I think it’s to make things seem more important and promising than they really are. I’ve felt that way many a time, that’s why I keep dating people. I think that if you really looked at a relationship from the outside, without feeing ‘that way’, you wouldn’t want to be in one. Remember when you were little and you thought the opposite sex was gross and had cooties? I do. I think it’s because I never truly cared for a boy in anything but a platonic way until I met the afore mentioned redhead. Other than my brothers, that is. I’m totally one of those girls that thinks about what our kids would look like or writes my first name with his last, the second a guy texts me a friggen smiley face or something. But I guess what I’m getting at is that if everyone was more honest with themselves about these kinds of things, there would be happier and more realistic relationships happening up in here.
Interesting
Well, this is weird but I’m not surprised at all. This was probably the part I missed the most about our relationship, however shallow or whatever that may be. I don’t care if you’re doing it with other girls, and you don’t care what I do. It’s a little funny though. Super casual and wicked awesome, but there definitely is something off. I think we’re both mad at each other, really. For everything that happened. We both are allowed to be upset for something that the other did, and I’m pretty sure we’re over the relationship part but there are left over hurt feelings. This may be the most twisted but logical way to take it out. I guess it’s breakup sex..five months late.
About to lose it
